The Jelly Belly Trip
It was our second annual Longaberger bus trip to the Jelly Belly factory. Great Grandpa, Great Grandma, Grandma Susie, me, Lydia, Claire, and Cecelia all made the trip. Lydia and Claire love road tripping in a motor coach. Lots of space, snacks, tvs, and no seat belts or car seats!
We rode the train for the tour of the Jelly Belly factory.
The Big Cheese
Lydia was the Big Cheese for a week in November (student of the week). She brought in pictures for a bulletin board about herself and was able to bring in some favorite things or a favorite book to share each day in front of the class.
Lydia choose to share her 2 week old baby sister on one of the days. Her favorite book she choose was Green Eggs and Ham. Instead of her teacher reading it to the class, she read it to them herself. Happy Halloween
We were glad that Cecelia came a week early instead of on her Halloween due date so that we didn't miss trick or treating. We went to Lydia's Halloween Parade at school.

Claire came to the parade in her ladybug costume.
Claire's pumpkin is on the left then Lydia's. Thanks to Grandma Susie's neighbors for letting the girls pick pumpkins from their garden.
It was a gorgeous day for trick or treating. We didn't need to wrestle costumes over winter coats! We have accumulated a few costumes to choose from so Lydia decided to be a devil instead of a Packer Cheerleader and Claire decided to be a Packer Cheerleader instead of a Ladybug. Alliy was trick or treating at her Mom's. I wish I had a picture of her costume. She did a fantastic job of putting together her own costume and it was a very festive looking ladybug.Thursday, November 20, 2008

Cecelia Joy
For all of you that have been waiting so patiently for pictures, I hope this works!

Cecelia Joy was born October 23, 2008 at 6:15pm. She was 21 inches long and weighed 8lbs 2 oz.

No sweet little newborn cries from this little girl. She wails! She will have no trouble competing for attention with her 3 older sisters.

First Bath at about 2am. We were awake, so why not. She liked getting her hair washed.

All clean! Wearing her new pumpkin hat made by one of the nurses.
Here's everyone! Ready to bring me and Cecelia home. We are so blessed!

Headed home.

At home trying out the crib but not for long....being held is much better.
