Cecelia - 5 Months Old

Cecelia is still the happiest baby ever. She has found her toes. She loves watching her sisters. She has learned that if she cries when people leave the room, they come right back. She is taking longer naps so I can start and finish a task before she wakes up. She has been drooling and chewing on her fingers alot lately. She might be working on some teeth.

Peas

It's Spring!

Well, between snowstorms it feels like spring.
Sunshine! Fresh air! Let's go see some baby lambs.
There they are!

Ok, it is not right that we actually paid money to see farm animals but we had a great time.

There were lambs, bunnies and chicks for us to see and touch.

This one wanted to taste Claire but she's quick and kept her fingers clear.

Our girls.

People Food

Cecelia is all suited up and ready for some real people food, well rice cereal is more like practice people food.

She has pretty much the same reaction to each new food that she tastes. "What is this? I'm not sure I like it." It usually takes at least 2 feedings for her to enjoy the new flavor.
The food that she likes the least so far is bananas. I just mash them with a fork and she doesn't like the lumpy texture yet.

This is yummy applesauce. The bouncy seat seemed to be too reclined so we moved to the swing which worked well but wasn't comfortable for Mommy so we had to get serious and pull the high chair out of the basement.

Cutie! This bib says "I love my big sister" and Lydia has made a request that I bring this to Aunt Julie so she can add an "s" - "I love my big sisters!"

Cecelia - 4 Months Old

So, I haven't been very good about posting lately so the few people who have been checking my blog have probably given up on me. Hang in there! I'll get to it eventually....or I'll let Alliy give it a try. She likes that idea.
4 Months old was a month ago already so I have to think back. She was 12.5 pounds which is in the 25 to 30% range at her check up.

She is still a very happy baby. She talks, laughs and can growl like a bear but she clams up when the camera is around.

She hasn't rolled over yet but there is so much entertainment from her sisters, she has no need.

Now that she is 4 months old, we get to start her on some foods. Expect some rice cereal face pictures soon.
